This is an antique Vintage Foster Brothers 18" Long Butchers Blade

Overall length: 450mm
Blade thickness: 3.5mm
 
Like all my good old blades, this Butcher's was sourced direct from the U S of A & she came to NZ via Salinas, California.
 
He's approx. 80 years old and has been lovingly restored to give him a new lease of life.
 
The blade has been ground and resharpened and is now ready for the next 80+ years of use at his new home.
 
This Foster Bros weighs in at 589grams and is heay for a Butcher's blade - trust me, this is a blade not to be fucked with!
